Chris Peterson

It is not easy being a skateboarder in Maine.  Long cold winters, shitty parks.  The skate industries of FL and CA are usually not interested in kids from Maine.  Decks break, they cost money.  The reality of coming from the North East is you have to fight for any piece of coverage you get, any free gear, any recognition and respect.  We commiserate with the Eastern shred, the Mainer’, kids like Chris.  He is a ball of kinetic energy that is fighting for his exposure and earning his respect.  Top ten’s in free flow comps’ do that kind of thing for you.  Keep an eye out for him.  He has the chops and is the definition of a darkhorse.  Yeah, Chris.
