Welcome to the new evo Seattle. It is an action sports retailer in Seattle, WA providing skisnowboard, wake, skate equipment and fashion apparel focused on carrying the highest quality goods and providing a unique offering to the community. With our brand new flagship store evo is stoked to bring you much more than just your average run of the mill retail experience. Going above and beyond the call has always been the mission, but providing a gathering place for the local community is now something that evo is truly proud to provide in their new retail home base. With the newly installed state of the art sound system provided by Skullcandy, it can easily transform itself to host local events such as film premiers and music shows.
evo loves awesome things and selling high quality products like Bern helmets is a vital part in completing the evo offering. Products are what initially draws customers to the store, continually providing the best merchandise from similar minded companies is what keeps them coming back.
To commemorate the new space, and as a thanks their friends and family for the support over the years, evo hosted an epic Grand Opening Dance Party. It was insane, tons of great sponsors, Whistler’s own Mat the Alien was at the helm spinning the turntables and there was tons of good food and drinks as well. Check out this video with a special interview from Bern skier and evo founder Bryce Phillips. The rumors are true, Bryce can cut a mean rug and we finally have the evidence.
The Champ Seth Wescott is off to a strong start this season. One of the first major competitions of the year was this past weekend at USANA Snowboard Cross Championships in Telluride. Seth took gold in a photo finish narrowly getting by Australia’s Alex Pullin after battling all day. Seth also took top honors with Bern teammate Nate Holland in the team snowboard cross as well. After such a dominant start to the season there is no doubt that the champ will be dominant in 2013. Keep your eyes on our blog for more updates from Seth all season long.
Giray Dadali hit us up a few weeks prior to Killington’s annual Rails to Riches contest, asking if we could help him make the trip back from Salt Lake City. Promising us that he would place well, and represent Bern well. We were pretty convinced Giray’s skills would pay off and make this a worthwhile trip for him, so we pulled the trigger and bought him a a flight out to Vermont.
As you may know Rails to Riches is ultimately the most competitive event on the east coast, With an unofficial convoy of East Coast turned Utahn skiers making the trek back from the promised land of Salt Lake City the level of talent and riding at this contest is unlike any other. This year was no exception to the past, with some of the best rail riding we have witnessed as of lately. From technical tricks, to super smooth style all the best maneuvers in skiing as of late were seen.
Giray ended up taking 2nd place along with his teammates from our friends at Saga Outerwear, LJ Strenio, and Steve Stepp. We are very stoked that the trip paid off for Giray! Thanks for represnting us so well Giray. Look for more from Gary this upcoming winter!

Bern Skier Will Wesson is one half of the infamous duo of Will and Andy also known as The Traveling Circus. The TC crew is already well into their 5th season of internet stardom with the most consistently entertaining skiing web series I have ever seen. Check the latest episode to see the gang get after the pre season and get creative with a whole host of rails.
